Justice is a concept of moral rightness based on ethics, rationality, law, natural law, religion, equity of fairness, as well as the administration of law, taking into account the inalienable and inborn rights of all human beings and citizens, the right of all people and individuals to equal protection before the law of their civil rights, without discrimination on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, color, ethnicity, religion, age, disability, or other characteristics, and is further regarded as being inclusive of social justice. Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable. Every step towards the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individual. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. The hope of a secure and livable world lies with disciplined nonconformists who are dedicated to justice, peace and brotherhood. The moral arc of the universe bends at the elbow of justice. It is also trite axiom that mercy bears richer fruits than strict justice. Law and order exist for the purpose of establishing justice and whom they fail in this purpose they become the dangerously structured dams that block the flow of social progress. There is a higher Court than Courts of justice and that is the Court of conscience. It supersedes all other Courts. At his best, man is the noblest of all animals; separated from law and justice he is the worst. The virtue of justice consists in moderation, as regulated by wisdom.
